Anna received her medical degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, and completed her internship in internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, neurology, psychiatry and Ob/Gyn. During her studies, Anna wrote several articles about her own research on phenylketonuria. In addition, she worked as a medical writer and advisor for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Celgene and Baxter, focusing on hemato-oncology. This introduction to medical writing ignited her interest in pursuing a career in medical communications. Therefore, following the completion of her medical internship in Hungary, Anna moved to the UK and after some London-based freelance medical writing, took up the full-time position of Medical Writer. She is the Managing Editor of GvHD Hub and also writes and researches across the Multiple Myeloma Hub, the Lymphoma Hub and the AML Global Portal.
