Anna received her medical degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary, and completed her internship in internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, neurology, psychiatry and Ob/Gyn. During her studies, Anna wrote several articles about her own research on phenylketonuria. In addition, she worked as a freelance medical writer for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Celgene and Baxter, focusing on hemato-oncology and writing scripts, web content and conference materials. This introduction to medical writing ignited her interest in pursuing a career in medical communications. Therefore, following the completion of her medical registration in Hungary, Anna moved to the UK and, after some London-based freelance medical writing, took up the full-time position of Associate Medical Writer. She currently writes and researches across the Multiple Myeloma Hub, the Lymphoma Hub and the AML Global Portal.
